Representational pictures are pictures which contained a visual message for people to recognize from environment and experience.This picture shows us the details of a car which named bugatti veyron.This object has four wheels and its shape is like a car, so we can recognize this as a car when we saw this picture. And according to the picture we could see the brand of this car “bugatti veyron”, this will be another representational sign which could make people distinguish from other different brands of car.The window and doors are all the characteristics of a car, so people could be able to recognize this object as a car and the brand contain some history information of this car.
Abstraction picture need have no relationship to actual meaningful symbol-making.This let all the elements in the picture seemed like no meaning and become abstracting. The abstraction processing will show people a more significance and general visual message .The more abstract,the more all-encompassing it is.We can read the visual message from the feeling of how the elements were structuring. Although each elements were drew no connection but we could know what are they trying to represent just from a general feeling, no need to catch carefully into the details.
The symbolism requires ultimate simplicity. My picture show the skull and bones which could make people think about death or dangerous and threaten at the first time when they look at it.The picture still remain the shape of skull and add another two bones to let the picture became more terrible.In another way of saying is make the symbol is order to be more effective. Not only detailed information had been showed but also the abstraction.Just this three object contain a lot meanings. That's why this picture shows on the dangerous transportation to warn people, and some dangerous chemicals.
